No hunger after the Word of God. New born babes desire the pure spiritual milk of God’s word (1Peter 2:2). Just like infants crave after milk genuine believers in Christ will long after the word of God making the bible their best friend. So if after your said conversion you do not feel a strong urge to bond with your bible know that it is a red flag that you have gone through a counterfeit experience. And if your thirst after the Word of God has waned since you believed then surely you are in a backslidden state and need to repent and begin to the things you did at first chief of which is fraternising with the Word of God (Rev 2:4-5).
